The Taiwanese manufacturer has now announced a new version of the Revo Cube that offers sufficient performance for any task, including decoding video in high resolution, giving life to a transversal solution able to perform more tasks, more functions and able to adapt to multiple contexts. The words of Marco Cappella, Country Manager of Acer Italy, clearly describe the target of the device:

Acer Revo Cube RN76: all the details

The very accurate aesthetic is definitely the strength of the Revo Cube RN76. Acer has in fact created a device that can be placed in every room of the house, even if its ideal place is next to the TV in the living room. The mini PC is a small parallelepiped that measures only 116.6x112x55.6 mm, so the overall dimensions are quite small. Those who choose to use the device in the office can attach it behind the monitor using the supplied VESA mounting kit, thus freeing up space on the desk.

Clean lines, essential traits, almost in search of a sort of anonymity: the absence of particular distinctive traits is an evidently sought after feature, designed to allow the device to fit into any context, even as a piece of furniture for each type of style and context.

On the front there are the power button, the 3.5mm audio jack and two USB 3.1 ports (Type-A and Type-C). On the back there are all the other connections, including the video outputs needed to interface with the screen. On three sides some slots have been made for the hot air outlet pushed by the cooling fan, thus seeking maximum performance even in the minimum space required by the project. The upper side is flat and allows you to place your smartphone. Observing better you notice the Qi logo that indicates the presence of a pad for wireless charging of compatible devices, which therefore makes it a real reference point for any type of interaction that its digital dimension.

The graphic power is sufficient for the decoding of the H.265 and VP9 formats.

The standard equipment of DDR4 RAM is 4 GB, but it is possible to reach 16 GB.
